The power in a newer suburb where we live in Bangalore, isn’t all that stable. Keeps fluctuating. Some of the circuit boards inside the expensive appliances aren’t designed for such fluctuation. Hence its wiser to purchase this to save those expensive items from getting destroyed. I already had to replace the circuit board inside a RO water filter due to this.
